The AGM will take place on WEDNESDAY 21ST OCTOBER 2009  - VENUE Blessington Community Centre , 8pm

We are organising a free bus to the National Gallery and the High Lane Gallery on the 16th August. We need to know numbers for the Bus, please text your intention to 086 60420250

We have booked the community centre in Rathcoole for 1 day Art & Craft Exhibition on Sunday July 26th. Cost per member is 10 Euro. We will be hanging the Art on the Saturday afternoon and everyone will be expected to help out as we have a tight time frame.

IT will be run on the Sunday from 10am - 4.30pm and we will need people to be available to  handle all the sales!!!!! Hopefully we can facilitate members with 3 pieces each at the moment.

We will have a raffle on the day, so all donations for raffle will be gratefully accepted.

The AGM will take place on Thursday 10th of September. The new membership of 35 Euros will be due from that night. This now covers your annual membership fee and a gallery page for a year on attend, as we will have lots of news to inform member of , and we need new members to join the committee. The venue will be advised shortly.

At the AGM we are launching the 2010 Cruthu Calender, We need 12 sponsor for the calendar, at 50 euros each, each sponsor will be sponsoring a artist, for 1 month please phone Paul with sponsor, name and Logo, ASAP. We will also be showing how to use our new website, and upload your onto the site.

Be sure to bring your 35.00 Euro membership fee on this date.

We had a fantastic day again this year at Art in Action in Drogheda.  We had 30 on the bus going down and thankfully again the weather was glorious and we all had a brilliant day learning lots of new crafts and  arts as well as lunch in the sun.

We are now sending out 57 text message’s to members about various events. However to date we have been getting about 15 replies, with some members then turning up on the day without letting us know. All we need is a yes or no reply, so we can gauge numbers and book relevant transport ect ok.

Hi all, welcome to another Cruthu newsletter. I hope you all made the most of the great weather we had and got creative! Unfortunately we managed to pick one of the bad days for the piper stones day out and it fell foul of the weather.  On the news front it going to be a very busy few months leading up to the AGM, so I hope you will be able to join us on some if not all of the events. Next  weekend the ‘Wood craft’ section are having an exhibition and demonstration in Heve’s house in Brittas, its on from 2-5pm and we really hope all members will drop in and support them. We have chosen Rathcoole for a 1 Day summer exhibition for Art & Crft in july 26th, and we will need plenty of bodies to make it happen on the Saturday evening and on the Sunday.

As well as the AGM we will be launching the new look website and we will hopefully have very exiting news for the members that is sure to get the taste buds going!  August also sees  free members trip to the National Gallery and The Hugh Lane Gallery on Sunday August 16th. If I don’t get to see you in the meantime, please make an effort to make the AGM
